DESCRIPCIÓN
El Grupo de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial (GIIA) del Instituto de Investigación para el Desarrollo del Perú (IINDEP) es un grupo de profesionales en ciencia de la computación, informática, estadística y otros relacionados, el cual fue constituido en el año 2021 y reconocido por la Universidad Nacional de Moquegua el mismo año 2021. Desde sus inicios ha venido llevando a cabo diversos proyectos de investigación para la resolución de la problemática de la región y el país en relación a la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial, obteniendo como resultado diversas publicaciones científicas en revistas indexadas.
MISIÓN
Desarrollar proyectos de investigación relacionados a la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial para la solución de problemas de la región y el país aplicando técnicas de aprendizaje de máquina.
VISIÓN
El GIIA en el mediano plazo, será uno de los líderes en el sur del país desarrollando aplicaciones basadas en inteligencia artificial, dando solución a diversos problemas regionales y del país.
OBJETIVOS
- Desarrollar proyectos de investigación relacionados a la problemática regional y del país.
- Transferir tecnología a los diversos sectores de la región acorde a los resultados de los proyectos de investigación.
- Realizar publicaciones científicas en revistas indexadas y de alto impacto.
- Presentar los resultados de las investigaciones en conferencias nacionales e internacionales.
